Arianna Vendittelli made her debut in 2010 at the Salzburg Festspiele, singing the role of Carmi in Mozart's Betulia liberata under the baton of Riccardo Muti. For many years, she performed as a zwischenfach soprano, specializing in pants roles (en travesti), particularly within the Baroque repertoire. She subsequently transitioned fully to the mezzo-soprano repertoire, embracing Mozart and bel canto roles to widespread acclaim from both audiences and critics. She has performed at several internationally renowned theaters and festivals, including the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, the Teatro di San Carlo in Naples, the Salzburg Festispiele, the Palau de les Arts in Valencia, the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées in Paris, the Baden-Baden Festival, and the Theater an der Wien. Arianna portrayed Giovanna Seymour in Donizetti's Anna Bolena in a new production conducted by Diego Fasolis and directed by Carmelo Rifici in Lugano, Reggio Emilia, Modena, and Piacenza. She has received high praise for her Rossini interpretations, performing at the San Carlo in Naples in the title role of Ermione(conducted by Alessandro De Marchi, directed by Jacopo Spirei) and as Amaltea in Mosè in Egitto(conducted by Stefano Montanari, directed by David Pountney), as well as the role of Matilde in Elisabetta, Regina d'Inghilterra with Jean-Christophe Spinosi. Under the direction of Ottavio Dantone, she performed and recorded the title role in Handel's Serse on tour in Italy, and played Idaspe in Vivaldi's Tamerlano (recorded for the Vivaldi Edition on the Naïve label) at the Theater an der Wien. Since her debut at the Innsbrucker Festwochen der Alten Musik in the world premiere of Cesti's Le nozze in sogno, conducted by Enrico Onofri, she has been a regular guest at the festival. There, under the direction of Alessandro De Marchi, she performed the title role of Bernardo Pasquini's Idalma and as Vagaus in Vivaldi's Juditha triumphans, earning a nomination for the Österreichischer Musiktheaterpreis. Conducted by Dantone and accompanied by Accademia Bizantina, she performed and recorded the title role in Geminiano Giacomelli's Cesare in Egitto, directed by Leo Muscato.
